INTRO
Microcement is a thin, decorative finish, hand-applied in several very fine layers until it builds up to around 2–3mm total. Where the substrate needs it, we add mesh reinforcement first, so any movement underneath doesn't travel through to the surface.
Once the base and finishing layers are complete, the surface is sealed with a premium sealer. That builds one continuous, wipe-clean surface and because there's no grout, there's nothing for dirt or grime to collect in.
Compared with paint or render, a properly sealed microcement surface holds up to far more everyday wear, which is part of why it works so well in bathrooms and other wet areas alongside a proper waterproofing membrane underneath, not instead of one. It's well suited to floors, walls, ceilings and joinery.
