In their own words.

“We used Alex and the Microlux team for two bathrooms and our kitchen. This included all of the microcement work and management of the bathroom renovations.

This was not your standard project. We had very specific requirements around the microcement colour and finish, including different treatments across different surfaces, exact measurements, two full stone vanity installations, additional plumbing works and a number of other exacting details.

Alex was great through all of it. He understands design and quality, and will actually work with you to get the result you're after. Nothing was ever too hard to work through and communication was easy.

The biggest thing was that Microlux was much more than just another microcement outfit. Alex managed the project as a builder, organzing trades and ensuring the quality of the job was architectural level.

The finish is genuinely second to none. Really happy with how it all came together and would absolutely recommend Alex and the team, particularly for high-end projects.

The pictures of the final result speaks for themselves.”

“I highly recommend Microlux for anyone considering micro-cement. The CEO, Alex, is extremely knowledgeable, and a consumate professional. I knew I was in safe hands from the first consultation.

My project ran over as the prep proved more challenging than initially expected. Alex and Ovi worked during the final weekend to ensure I was able to move into my property the following week. Their exacting standards and commitment never wavered.

I renovated two bathrooms, a laundry and the sides of a kitchen bench using micro-cement. The original spaces were functional, but aesthetically dated. I struggled with the idea of gutting the bathrooms. And I'm so glad my Instagram algorithm provided a perfect solution - micro-cement and after some further research, "Microlux" !!!

The transformation took 11 days instead of 12+ weeks for a conventional renovation. Alex and his team were fastidious about maintaining a clean site and when packing up.

The end finish is incredibly luxurious and surprisingly tactile. I love stepping into my bathrooms with bare feet. Every room and surface is beyond beautiful (and moreover practical because micro-cement is easy to clean and resistant to mould etc).

Essentially, I'm so pleased I found Microlux. I genuinely want everyone to have a similar experience! Meet Alex: you'll see what I mean....”

“We spoke to a few different companies before choosing MicroLux and, to be honest, they all sounded pretty similar.

The difference was Alex. He was the only one who really looked at the floor instead of just measuring it and talking about colours. He explained what he was checking and why it actually mattered. It gave us confidence that if he was this fussy before the job even started, he'd probably be the same once the work began. We were right. The end result is unreal. If you're on the fence about Microcement we would highly recommend speaking to Alex first.”

“We had the entire ground floor of our Hampton home completed by MicroLux and couldn't be happier with the result. From the initial consultation, Alex was incredibly thorough. He carried out moisture testing and a full surface assessment before explaining exactly what preparation was required and why it was so important.

The team was professional, punctual and kept us updated throughout the project. The finish is absolutely flawless and the seamless look has completely transformed our home. You can really tell they don't cut corners and take pride in their workmanship.”

“I would like to thank Alex and Dennis for the amazing work they did on my kitchen floor and two complete bathrooms. Their attention to detail and professionalism was apparent at all times. The custom finish to the kitchen floor to achieve the desired look I was after showed the commitment to their craft. I could not be happier. I found that you get a full personalised experience with them as they genuinely care. Many thanks guys 🙏”

“A big thank you to Alex and the team at Microlux for such a great experience. They were friendly, professional and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process for our 5 bathrooms. The quality of their work and attention to detail were outstanding. I'm extremely happy with the result and would highly recommend them.”

“We finished building our home a few months ago and without a doubt, the bathrooms are everyone's favourite part. Every person that comes over ends up walking into them and asking what the walls are. The texture catches the light so differently throughout the day and it gives the rooms such a calm and premium feel.

We couldn't be happier. Thank you to Alex and the team!”

“We're really happy with the end result!! We were quite sceptical at first about putting microcement over our existing bathroom tiles but it's completely transformed the space! It feels like we've done a full renovation and everyone who's seen it has commented on how great it looks. No more grout lines!!! Thank you MicroLux”

“I don't normally leave reviews but I thought Alex and his team deserved one.

We had the downstairs floor done over our existing tiles and I still can't believe they didn't have to rip everything out.

Saved us weeks of mess, noise, dust and the floor looks amazing!!

Definitely recommend MicroLux.”

“Alex, Denis and the team at Microlux Finishes were professional throughout our renovation. Alex spent considerable time with us during the planning phase to make sure the project was achievable and on track. They were flexible and respectful at all times. Alex and Dennis worked hard to keep the project on time and delivered an amazing bathroom and ensuite that surpassed our expectations.. we would definitely recommend MicroLux Finishes for your next project!!”

“Alex and his team were faultless in renovating our bathrooms! The product is excellent and looks fantastic! It was super easy from start to finish. The good thing was we went away for two weeks, we gave them the keys and they could just get on with it. Completely trustworthy and reliable. We only had the glass to clean once the product had fully cured, which all up was about 2 weeks. We loved their work so much that our daughter is now getting her bathrooms done. This product is easy to maintain, just water and a wipe down. No harsh chemicals needed, no grout to clean, no scrubbing! I would highly recommend Microlux Finishes!”

“We didn't end up going ahead with the renovation because our plans changed, but I still wanted to leave a review.

Alex came out, did a proper assessment and was upfront about everything. There was no sales pressure, no trying to convince us to lock it in, just honest advice about our project.

We'll definitely be back in touch when the timing is right.”

“Alex and the team at Micro Lux did an outstanding job. Their attention to detail, workmanship and professionalism were excellent from start to finish. The finished product looks incredible and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high quality micro cement finishes.”

“Exceptional and hard working team led by Alex. These guys are artisans, they are professional and they do an amazing job. I had a whole bathroom and dining table completed and am so happy with the results that I'm planning on doing my balconies and back yard,”

“Very well organised, flexible with the scope of the job and left our house tidy with everything packed away at the end of each day. The finish looks great with high attention to detail. Thank you!”

“Couldn't be happier with Alex and the team. Professional, easy to deal with and the attention to detail was second to none. Nothing ever felt rushed and you could tell they took real pride in their work. Highly recommend.”
