The brief
The owners wanted bathrooms without grout. After years of scrubbing grout lines that still looked tired two or three years in, they had researched online and collected several quotes before finding MicroLux. At the Site Assessment we checked every surface and talked through what the result would depend on: screed requirements, plumbing set-back, drainage set-down, and the waterproofing products and method. Seeing our finished work up close gave them confidence we could deliver the bathrooms they were picturing, not just the microcement. We worked alongside their builder so every trade's requirements lined up. The result is subtle texture and crisp lines: calm, quietly luxurious, and in keeping with the rest of the home. After the bathrooms, they asked us back for their kitchen floor and outdoor BBQ area.
“I would like to thank Alex and Dennis for the amazing work they did on my kitchen floor and two complete bathrooms. Their attention to detail and professionalism was apparent at all times. The custom finish to the kitchen floor to achieve the desired look I was after showed the commitment to their craft. I could not be happier. I found that you get a full personalised experience with them as they genuinely care. Many thanks guys 🙏”
