Your finish is protected by a sealer, and like any protective layer it's maintained over time. Here's how we look after it with you.
Everyday care
Simple habits.
The care kit from handover covers the basics.
- A damp mop or soft cloth with a pH-neutral cleaner.
- Wipe spills promptly.
- Avoid abrasive pads and harsh chemicals.
- Use felt pads under furniture.
Re-sealing
Every three to four years, depending on use.
It depends on use. The sealer is the wear layer, so re-sealing keeps the finish protected. Re-sealing is quoted when it's due.
24-month check-up
Free, on site.
With a written report and advice on re-seal timing.
Warranties
5 years + 10 years.
5-year workmanship from MicroLux and a 10-year product warranty from Atria Australia, both transferable to a new owner if the home is sold. To raise a warranty question, use the form below or call 1800 841 884.
