The brief
Stuart and his wife liked their layouts, and their bathrooms were in good condition, just dated. They wanted a seamless finish without demolishing and starting again. After the first onsite consultation they chose MicroLux, including changing some fittings and fixtures as part of the same job, which takes experience beyond the finish itself. They had a two-week window, so they stayed with family while we worked. When they came home, it was done: bathrooms that look like a full high-end renovation, for a fraction of the cost and time of tearing them out.
In the client's words
“The finish is genuinely second to none. Really happy with how it all came together and would absolutely recommend Alex and the team, particularly for high-end projects.”

“We used Alex and the Microlux team for two bathrooms and our kitchen. This included all of the microcement work and management of the bathroom renovations.
This was not your standard project. We had very specific requirements around the microcement colour and finish, including different treatments across different surfaces, exact measurements, two full stone vanity installations, additional plumbing works and a number of other exacting details.
Alex was great through all of it. He understands design and quality, and will actually work with you to get the result you're after. Nothing was ever too hard to work through and communication was easy.
The biggest thing was that Microlux was much more than just another microcement outfit. Alex managed the project as a builder, organzing trades and ensuring the quality of the job was architectural level.
The finish is genuinely second to none. Really happy with how it all came together and would absolutely recommend Alex and the team, particularly for high-end projects.
The pictures of the final result speaks for themselves.”
