St Kilda penthouse bathroom with a seamless microcement wall niche

Seamless bathrooms — Melbourne

A bathroom with no grout lines, ever.

Floors, walls and ceilings in one continuous Italian surface. Calm to look at, quick to wipe clean.

Two ways in

Renovating or building, it starts with the surface you have.

Refresh without the rip-out.

Happy with your layout? We finish straight over your existing tiles, so there's no demolition, no skip bin and far less dust. Most bathrooms are done in about a week.

Part of your full renovation.

Moving walls or plumbing? Your builder handles the structure, and we finish the new surfaces once they're ready. We work in with your trades so every detail lines up.

Next door vs yours

Most renovations end up looking the same.

Next door's home

  • Grout grids, everywhere you look
  • Default timber or hybrid flooring
  • Scrubbing grout on weekends
  • Details left to chance

Your home

  • Seamless surfaces, wall to floor
  • One continuous floor through the home
  • A quick wipe-down and done
  • A documented system, start to finish
01

Nothing to scrub

No grout lines means no grout to stain, discolour or scrub on weekends.

02

One continuous surface

Floor, walls and ceiling flow together for a calm, monolithic look.

03

A look that won’t date

Quiet, mineral and timeless, not a trend that ages in five years.

Common questions

The things everyone asks.

Seamless vs tiles and grout

Why a seamless bathroom feels different.

Tiles and grout

  • Grout lines that stain and need regular scrubbing
  • A grid of joins that breaks up the space
  • Grout that can discolour and crack over time
  • Heavy tile layers and thick adhesive beds

MicroLux seamless

  • No grout lines, so a quick wipe-down is all it takes
  • One continuous surface from floor to wall
  • A sealed, seamless finish built as one system
  • A thin finish that can often go over existing tiles where suitable

How the project runs

Best case: 5–6 working days on site.

Time on site depends on the size and complexity of the bathroom and how much surface preparation is needed. The best case is 5–6 working days on site, including the handover walk-through. Larger or more complex bathrooms take longer, and the exact timing is confirmed in your proposal.

You can usually stay home if another bathroom is usable. Our own specialists protect your home from day one, and you get a photo update every working day.

02

03

Full cure in about 30 days

The surface reaches its full cure at about 30 days.

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

The finish is not a waterproofing membrane. In wet areas it goes over a compliant membrane, which MicroLux can install and certify as part of one system.
